Electric Chamber

Electric Chamber is a boundary-pushing quartet redefining the sound of modern chamber jazz music. Based in London, the group has captivated audiences at iconic venues such as the Vortex Jazz Club and Pizza Express Dean St., earning a reputation for their genre-defying approach and compelling live shows.

Their sound fuses elements of contemporary classical music with the edgy spontaneity of modern jazz and the raw energy of progressive rock. Each performance unfolding like a narrative, traversing a rich sonic landscape—where tightly woven contrapuntal passages dissolve into explosive saxophone or guitar solos, only to be drawn seamlessly into intimate, cinematic textures by the expressive pull of the cello.

Intriguing, contemporary, and cinematic, Electric Chamber offers a musical experience that is as refined as it is unpredictable.

They are: Alam Nathoo (tenor sax), Natalie Rozario (cello), Adam Teixeira (drums) & Vitor Pereira (guitar/composition)

“The music is lyrical, luminous and filmic” – Chris May on All About Jazz

“Pereira has created music that emphasises a wide range of dynamics and moods, music that ranges from emotional and introspective moments to energetic and explosive” – Jazzport

“For all its complexity it’s still very much jazz with plenty of opportunity allowed for improvisation within the semi-classical framework” – Ian Mann on TheJazzMann

“… the music is mostly through composed but allows some limited room for improvised solos … the mood moves between upbeat passages with a jazz vibe, and more reflective passages that show an influence from contemporary classical music. The movement between the two elements is handled well, and this creates a nice flow in the music.” – Tony D. Evans on TDE Promotions
